Ecology NI exists to ensure that the environment is not damaged, or that the habitat of protected species is not compromised, by a potential development or project.

In Northern Ireland, there are several protected species under law. Often it is necessary to carry out an ecological assessment or survey in order to continue with development on a site or a project. Failure to provide one may mean the development cannot go ahead. This is where we can help.
